FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When someone is interested in choosing me for their photographer, I tell them what the price includes, and ask where they would like to have their photos taken. If they hire me and ask, I make suggestions for locations, what they should wear, etc. Once the photos are taken I usually have a preview on facebook within 24 hours, but most often sooner. The client on average has their photos and digital files back to them within two weeks.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have no official schooling for my photography. I am self taught. I have taken some courses to improve and quicken my editing processes in photoshop.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My first photo job was my youngest brother's senior photos in August 2008. It was done with a small point and click digital camera and after doing them I was surprised and pleased on how well they came out. I then did a few more small jobs for friends and family and then I borrowed a more professional camera and shot my first wedding in June 2009 and then bought my own professional camera equipment and did another in wedding March 2010. Since then I have done about 3 dozen weddings and countless family, child, newborn and couple/engagement sessions.
