Among other things, I work with families and friends of people addicted to drugs and/or alcohol. Chemical dependence affects everyone involved, and partners or family members face special challenges. Whether you work with me individually or as a group, I can help you find ways to help your loved one and yourselves.
In addition, I work with women and men facing life transitions such as job issues, relationship struggles, grief or loss and other stresses that affect daily life.
I offer short-term, solution-focused and long-term talk therapy. My office is in a historic building downtown Ann Arbor near many shops and restaurants. There is ample public parking available nearby, and I'm right across the street from the AATA Blake Transit Center.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Visit more than one therapist before you choose! It is important to find the right match for you...take in a list of questions and make sure you get the answers you're looking for. If you need flexibility in scheduling or billing, ask for it. The most important thing in psychotherapy is the rapport between the client and the therapist. Make sure yours is a good fit.
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. What is the background of the therapist? What experience do they have in helping people solve the problem you are having? What training have they had that is pertinent to your problem?
