FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Currently my rates are fixed at $65 for 60 minute sessions and $85 for 90 minute sessions. Stay tuned for updated rates & services coming October 2015!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new client, I always like to connect on the phone for an initial conversation just to get to know each other a bit and to make sure there is a full understanding of my services as well as address any expectations, questions or concerns from the client. Sometimes I will also suggest a brief in-person meeting prior to a one-on-one Thai Bodywork session or Private Yoga session. Upon arriving to the first session, a new client will fill out a waiver form. Throughout the first session especially, open conversation is encouraged to make sure the client is receiving optimal and quality service directed specifically to his or her needs. Directly after a first session, I will review special rates and discounts applicable to later sessions as well as answer any final questions from the client. Within several days, the client can expect a follow-up email or phone call ensure satisfaction and express my genuine motivation to provide high quality experiences to all!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a certified yoga teacher with 350+ hours of formal training, as well as endless hours of professional experience. Yoga has led me around the world, literally! Aside from teaching regular studio and private classes, I also have worked as staff member on international yoga teacher trainings in Massachusetts, Costa Rica and Bali. For one year I served as studio manager at a thriving studio in the rolling mountains Berkshire County, MA. Currently, I educate myself everyday through my own yoga practice, keeping updated with videos and articles, as well as practicing mindful living off the yoga mat! I traveled to Goa, India in December 2013 to continue my education as yoga instructor. With my yoga school (Frog Lotus Yoga, based in Massachusetts), I participated in a three-week intensive Advanced Yoga Teacher Training. There I accumulated 150 additional hours of training and certification. Someday down the road I look forward to completing the second half of the advanced training in order to be full accredited as a 500 hour RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher). After India I continued on to Chiang Mai, Thailand where I took many different training courses in Thai massage. I already had a solid base of training (160+ hours with the Triple Gem School of Thai Massage) and practice while living in Massachusetts, but saw it was the right time to learn straight from the source. I first took a couple weeks to research the schools and teachers, as well as to acclimate to the new culture. 150+ hours of training and two months of study later, I look forward to return someday to Thailand to keep strengthening my skills!
