Linda Michele-Dobel is a portrait artist, specializing in modern magazine style portraiture of maternity, babies, children, high school seniors, pets, models and boudoir. She operates Linda Michele-Dobel Photography in her residential studio in Brighton, Michigan as well as off site locations throughout the country.
Linda’s love of photography began early in life with inspiration coming from her parents, grandmother, high school photography teacher, and having been surrounded as a child with beautiful publications like National Geographic.
The curiosity of people and culture drove Linda’s passion to explore personalities through her lens.
“In order to capture a person’s emotions and true self, it is important that they feel comfortable enough to reveal themselves to me. As an artist, I see my role as creating images, not just “taking photographs.”
Linda is active as a member of the Professional Photographers of America from 2004 to the current, Detroit Professional Photographers, March of Dimes, S.E. Michigan Volunteer Photographer from 2004 to current, and she is also the President of the Livingston County Photographers Group.
