Dryer belt replacement on very old Maytag. Repairman was experienced with this repair and arrived with right new belt. The drum was removed, rollers lubricated, new belt installed which was not easy, and inside thoroughly cleaned. He shared the belief that they don't make them like this anymore and took pride in getting it running again. Scheduled early morning appointment was delayed which happens. Communication about the delay should improve.

Pro: I hired this professional to inspect my leaking refrigerator. He came next day. He was an exceptionally friendly service provider, diagnosed the issue quickly, and explained the issue in layman’s terms. He also explained the potential costs associated with resolving my appliances issue. Con: Time management appears to be an issue; he arrived at the tail end of my scheduled window of 9-11am, but acknowledged the timing upon greeting me at my door. During the. service call, he accidentally dialed 911, seeking advice on what to do. I think there were some external factors (such as stress) that informed his decision to ask for advice. After he concluded his call with the police, he promptly resumed inspecting my fridge. Then (I am assuming) another client called, citing him as a scammer because he didn’t arrive as scheduled and he got defensive and was like, “don’t talk to me like that.” Regrettably, the service provider was unable to offer further assistance beyond diagnosis due to the limitations of their knowledge and training. I appreciate their honesty, as many others might have taken your money and worsened the situation. Unfortunately, upon completion, they forgot to plug my refrigerator back in.
