One of the biggest differences you will find with Trademark Home Inspection of Southeast Michigan is that we do not actively solicit leads from Realtors. Though we do receive referrals from selected Realtors who have seen us in action, these Realtors completely understand and respect that we will not write a soft report to save their commission. Yes, many inspection companies do this and yes it is the easiest way to keep your schedule full. However, it is not what is best for our clients and does not align with our core principles. After being in the home improvement industry for many years, I have seen many poor examples of building practices. I truly enjoy investigating homes and making sure people truly understand exactly what they are getting.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes as a member of the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (interNACHI) and the International association of Certified Indoor Air Consultants (Iac2) we are required to have so much continuing education each year. In addition to that I attend many conferences and personal education each year to keep up on the latest technologies and inspection methods.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always been passionate about building and how homes work. As a licensed builder I owned a construction company for many years. I have always loved to investigate things and find solutions to problems, so when I started having people who knew me start asking me to perform inspections for them, I decided that it was best for me to go into inspecting full time.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We offer Home Inspections, Mold Inspections, and Radon Gas Testing, most of our business is split between Home Inspections, and Mold Inspections.
