Introduction: Other dog trainers or behaviorists, as they often refer to themselves, typically only have a relative few years of experience with a small number of dogs in a limited venue before "going pro" and none typically have any sort of real behavior education, training or research behind them. Not so with Laurie. She has a Master of Science degree and published research. She has trained for over 30 years in all aspects of the competitve and pet venues. As a well respected behavior consultant for several breed rescue groups throughout the tri state area, her consulting is now being requested worldwide. She has owned, trained and handled dogs for TV and movies as well and her dogs are featured on TV's "Animal Planet"
The staff here at All Creatures Great and Small have a true passion for animals and have a wide knowledge base. Coming to work is a joy when you get to play with animals all day! Helping people provide quality care for their pets while educating them is certainly a bonus that provides a good feeling of making a difference.

Laurie definitely is a legit trainer. Everything I know about training and behavior modification I owe to her. Laurie is my aunt, so Ive picked up a lot of experience through watching classes, taking 4-H dog groups, showing. She definitely knows how to break it down to a teaching level. The dog training is definitely the easy part, it's re-training the owners. In a lot of ways, her sense of control with all animals has rubbed off on me and ultimately provided me with a long lived career in veterinary medicine.
As tough as is its sometimes dealing with your pets at the times you just feel you can't live with them, you just have to work that much harder with them. Can't ever quit. Laurie taught me that.
So take her courses, THEY WORK! She makes them fun and enjoyable for you, your family, and your pets. Plus you learn on how to make you dependent on praise and love for your dog than stuffing 100 treats daown their throats.

Huge supply of food and pet care products. My Berner Freddie LOVES to vistit as do my 2 cats. They have everything all in one convienient location, grooming, daycare, training, supplies, resident creatures what more could you ask for? Family owned and operated!

Horrible place to take your pet. The facillity stinks, and the outdoor kennel is a bunch of fence thrown together and falling down. They leave your dogs out for 4-5 hours at a time with no way to get out of the elements such as rain, snow, hot sun, with no water to drink. I still can't believe people think this is sutable for their pets.
