- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My base price for officiant services starts at $200 and at least 20 miles from me. This is a very simple ceremony where I ask the minimum of questions to you. My packages go up from there if you'd like a more personalized ceremony - Which I highly suggest because ceremonies can be so beautiful if we add a few personal touches to it after I take the time to learn more about the couple.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After you contact me, I will respond back to let you know if I am available and will then send you my package offerings with prices. If you choose to hire me for your event, I will send you a link to secure your date so you can make your non-refundable $50 or 50% deposit - depending on the circumstance.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have spent my whole life in front of crowds. I have a degree in broadcast journalism and communications. I spent many years reporting and anchoring television news and had so much fun meeting new people and telling the stories of so many people and events/happenings. But even far before that, growing up I loved performing in musicals and plays to singing on stage. The old saying, "I've never met a stranger," is really true for me. I find it very natural to meet people and make friends almost immediately. Being able to officiate ceremonies is an absolute honor. I am also a Christian and have a deep faith in Jesus Christ - it’s an honor to unite two people together in marriage.
