We just got married in December 2011. We hired D and D Entertainment as both our wedding photographer and DJ. They did an incredible job at both! Their pictures were amazing- they took all the shots we asked them to and the pictures turned out beautiful! They made them available online so we could share easily with family and order online and they also gave us the pictures on disc so we could have our own hard copy. I feel they really went above and beyond. In addition the DJ-ing was GREAT! They played all the songs that we requested (we requested a LOT of songs by specific artists and they didn't think it was too demanding, they just got ALL the songs!) They really kept the night rolling and acted as great MC's in addition to DJ. Our guests danced the night away and are still talking about how much fun they had!! They are nice, fun, professional, and very easy to work with. Would use them again any time- recommend 100%!!!!

I used D&D for my wedding in October 2009 and could not have asked for a better day. What a great group of people and very professional. Everyone at the reception had a wonderful time and Gabe was very involved with everyone, happy to take requests or get the group out dancing. Highly recommended for your event.
    Thanks, Nikki Alkema

Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Weddings and parties

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Make sure that your personality matches with your DJ's personality and that you are aiming for the same result.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. I would want to know how you get started and motivated to DJ for large crowds. Biggest thing to get motivated is to be a crowd pleaser. If you like making people happy, it makes it so much more motivating to please a large crowd at the same time.

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. Just know what you are looking for out of a DJ. What type of music you are hoping to hear. Where the event is going to be held and how big a room it will be in.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. We are affordable with the same quality equipment you get from other Mobile DJ's.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. Working with the Host/Hostess of the event. We really love being able to interact with so many different people.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. Do you have your own equipment? Yes

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. Love watching people enjoy themselves.

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. Our affordable prices make us affordable, but doesn't mean we are cheap. Quality music at affordable prices.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. We have always had a love for music and our family needed a DJ, so we decided to start our own DJ business.

Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.

A. Love doing weddings and helping make the Bride and Grooms day that much more special and memorable.

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. We take requests and keep up on the latest music.

Q. What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?

A. More and more DJ's will be going digital and it will be more about the large selections of music available.

Q. If you have a complicated pricing system for your service, please give all the details here.

A. We are not complicated with our pricing. Our flat rate is $350. Let us know if you need to work something out, because our goal is to make it so that everyone that wants a DJ can have a DJ.

Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?

A. Research the equipment before you purchase it and make sure that you know different types of music.
