Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.
A. Visits with a walk are the most common service we perform. This keeps your dog well exercised, happy and healthy. When you return home, you will be more likely to enjoy your friend without having to rush him out the door right away to let him relieve himself. Also, he will be less likely to be so overly excited and wound up from being locked in the home all day that you will again be able to enjoy more quality time with him.
Another great service wee provide are the overnight visits for those animals that just need that extra security of having someone with them. Speaking of security, your home also gets the lived in look while you are away.
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. "Hiring a pet sitter is a serious process." states Monica Leighton, president of the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters (NAPPS).
The NAPPS website offers a nationwide referral network as a valuable online resource at www.petsitters.org. This free service provides pet parents with details regarding the sitter's experience and expertise.
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. Is the service bonded, licensed and insured?
Is the company certified through NAPPS?
Does the sitter interact well with your pets?
