Introduction: Ryan has been involved in music from an early age. He completed his Bachelor of Music at Grace Bible College and currently writes and records his own music as well as produces music for others. He performs at open mic nights, weddings, and at concerts. In addition, Ryan is a church worship leader. If you need Ryan to lead music for your special event, feel free to reach out, as he knows how to play a broad variety of genres, from rock to country, to wedding and Christmas music; from church music to singer-songwriter songs. Ryan has been teaching music lessons professionally since 2015 and he teaches voice, guitar, and ukulele lessons. He likes to encourage his students to truly learn how music works, asking them questions to help them recall and absorb the knowledge they have gained. Most of all, Ryan helps his students to believe in themselves – to truly know that they can learn and become an excellent musician, one step at a time.

I have taken one signing lesson with Ryan and I plan on taking more soon. He was very open and inviting during our lesson and I learned some new things.

Thanks, Marcus! It was great to meet you, and I look forward to the next lesson in a couple weeks.

I'm amazed how Ryan manages to keep lessons fun, but without lacking on ANY of the teaching. He was quickly able to identify areas I need to work on in a way tailored to my voice. His prices are second to none for the knowledge and teaching this man has to offer.
Vegh Music Lessons & Studio's reply
Thank you very much, Christian! Your words are so kind. It is a great joy to be able to help you out however I can! You’re on a good path with your voice.

I received a couple of voice lessons from Ryan. He really knows a lot about singing and was able to approach teaching vocals from several different angles depending on what was needed. He's not stuck in just one or two streams of vocal coaching like some guys.
Vegh Music Lessons & Studio's reply
Thanks for the kind words, Kenny! It was fun having the opportunity to give you some voice lessons.

With music theory tutoring, Ryan is good at pointing you in the right direction but letting you do the work yourself. He will take as much time or as many repetitions as you need. He really knows his stuff, but if you manage to stump him, he'll want to know the answer just as much as you do, and he will find an answer. His help is accurate, useful, friendly, and funny. Seriously, if they made Pocket Ryans for reference, I'd buy one.
Vegh Music Lessons & Studio's reply
Thanks, Ashley! Much appreciated. Hah, I like the Pocket Ryan idea.

Ryan explained music to me in a way that I could understand and helped me really enjoy music. Ryan has a great understanding of music theory and music scales. He can make music come alive.
Vegh Music Lessons & Studio's reply
Hey thanks, Cathy! Glad I could help make music a bit more fun for you!

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

Music is practically the air I breathe. As I've grown in music, it has only been natural to help others to hone their own craft. I want people to see that it is possible to excel, even if you start with next to nothing.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

All kinds. Young people, older people... It seems that everyone has music inside of them somewhere. Perhaps one person needs singing lessons and another person needs to record a song they wrote, while yet another person just wants to express themselves better onstage. In any of these scenarios and more, I am willing and able to help.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure you work with somebody you connect with. Whether you're looking for lessons, studio time, or development as an artist, you need to find someone who understands you. I once worked with an artist developer in Nashville who did not understand my music, and the result was terribly disappointing. He was trying to turn me into something I'm not. As you're looking for someone to help you express the music inside of you, find someone who resonates with your vision; someone who makes you comfortable and confident, yet also pushes you to greatness you couldn't have attained on your own.
