We hired Holly for our wedding August of 2011, and we are very happy with the results. Before the wedding, she was very easy to communicate with and had good suggestions on how to schedule the bride/groom and family photos, etc. On the wedding day, we barely even noticed that she was there. We just got the pictures back last week, and they’re just perfect. Great photos of the ceremony, individuals, great smiles, dancing, and great action shots during the bouquet toss. She really captured the people, events, and feelings of the day in a way that looks natural (and all for a very reasonable price).

Question and answer

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Photographing weddings is a very fun job! Most people assume wedding photographers are always over priced and do very little work for the pay. The truth is that our job doesn't end with the wedding day. We bring in the images back to our work space, upload and edit the images for days.

Another thing to consider is that most photographers have their own studio and that means a lot of rent and upkeep. Luckily for me I for-go that option which helps to save my customers about $1000 per wedding! While everyone else with my experience charges $2000+, I can keep my prices affordable.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. There are many questions a person should ask before hiring a photographer. But the main important question would have to be: Do they have a degree? If your photographer hasn't gone to a good photography school (not just taken seminars), they are most likely not professional enough to risk your wedding photos. Wedding photos can't be re-done. There are so many people these days that know the basics of photography and buy an expensive camera, but that doesn't make them a photographer.

Q. Write your own question and answer it.

A. Can I purchase a disc with my images?

Yes! All of my packages come with a CD/DVD of all your images! With the disc you have full rights to print the photos however you wish. You can even share them on facebook.
