    Rose Hendershot at Photographic Memory takes time with her clients to meet with them in their home or business for portraits of their family and children. Many times the pets are included in the family portrait in thier own surroundings where they are comfortable. Rose Hendershot even goes to nursing care facilites or assisted living homes for portraits of your elderly family members. Rose Hendershot will also work with your business and photograph events large and small as well as the head and shoulders photos needed for websites and advertising. Rose Hendershot even has her photos on the Barry County Transit busses in Hastings. You can trust Rose Hendershot to give you her best work with your portraits and events.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. The most common mistake people make in selecting a photographer is they select on the basis of price. They go with a lowest price possible and then come back to me and ask me to "fix" their photos. In the end they spend more and are not fully happy with their photos as some things are just not "fixable".

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. Ask about experience and training. Anything to be done well needs to have both experience and training. I also believe that continual training is needed in most jobs today. People don't stay the same in the way they view themselves today and methods and equipment are continually changing. I attend classes and seminars several times a year to stay current and progressing for the future.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I enjoy working with my clients. They give me the chance to try new things, see things from a different perspective, and grow in my ability as a photographer. I also like hearing how much they like what we have done together and how it made them feel good about who they are and what they are about. I have done my job well when they say there are so many great photos that they can't choose one but need them all.
