Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Just make sure you get a computer guy that isn't going to treat you like a moron.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. That computers are like cars. Would you run your car without getting a tune up or oil change? PC's need some preventative maintenance just like cars do.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. Most IT Professionals like to try and use big computer terms that confuse the user. I talk to my customers in terms they understand.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. The thing I enjoy most about my job is working with customers and talking to them in terms they understand.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. One of my biggest questions is how did you learn how to work on computers. The answer is quite simple, I learned by doing. My first computer was torn apart so many times and reimaged because I wanted to see what happened if I did something to the computer.

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. I love watching customers expression from when I first talk to them to when I finish my service. They think from beginning that I'm just there to make them feel inferior until they get the great service from me.

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. That not all IT Professionals treat you like you are worthless or stupid. I treat my customers with respect.
