I am an A+ certified technician, with over four years of experience dealing with both Macintosh and Windows machines. I am proficient in hardware diagnostic and repair, as well as software and operating system maintenance. I also build custom machines to customer specs, if so desired.

I have a quick turnaround time, and will be straightforward about any issues or concerns I have with your machine. My pricing is also very competitive, as I charge per job and not per hour.

I will also do your quote for free, and have no issue giving you any advise you require.

I have had many problems with my computers and multiple times I know you are the one to call with my questions. I have seen how efficiently you work and I can tell that you love computers and you enjoy solving problems and finding the source of the issue. You are extremely helpful and insightful and whenever I have questions about my computer I know you'll be able to answer them! So props to you for being so knowledgeable with this kind of stuff because many people these days have no clue where to even begin when it comes to computers. So thank you! Your help is greatly appreciated and good luck with your job as a Technician!

Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. The most common issues are with hard drives. Hard drives have hundreds of moving parts and spin at a minimum of 5200RPMs. This causes wear and tear and drives die. Make sure you are backing up so you don't lose your data and it is easy to retrieve and the job will be simple and cheap.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Don't just search for the cheapest price. Make sure you meet your technician first. You store your life on your computer and you need someone that resonates with you personally. Don't accept being just a number, make sure you are taken seriously and that you are as much a priority as the machine you are bringing in.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. About 85% of the time, a computer's issue is something very simple. At times, yes the machine will crash or blue-screen or some hardware may go bad but these kinds of things are rare compared to the amount of times something is unplugged or a password is typed wrong, etc. I believe it is important for both the technician and the client to be careful and aware of both the small details and the large ones.

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. What kind of computer are you bringing me?
What is the issue?
Did you change anything prior to the issue?
How long have you been experiencing the problem?

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I am aware that the economy is in terrible shape and a lot of people need their machines fixed and fixed correctly but can not afford it. I am always willing to work with clients to determine the most cost effective method to fix their issue.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I love working with my hands. Some people were given gifts as carpenters or artists whereas I was given the gift of a technical mind. I can't build a house but I can build a computer. I love giving people what they want and seeing a customer's satisfaction as they use their machine.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. "How much is this going to cost?"

Every person needs to know what they are going to be expected to shell out for a repair and most are prepared to be ripped off. I discuss different options with my clients and find the best solution for them both financially and functionally. I don't buy cheap parts to do a quick fix, I make sure the repair is going to last.
