Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Find a designer who is willing to work within your timeline and budget. Keep the lines of communication open and ask questions! Remember things may have to be designed differently for print and web use.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. There are many ways to print an item. Some printers use high-end production copy machines, while others use printing presses. The job and the design must match the output. Again, remember things have to be designed differently for print and web use.
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. Ask if they can design for all aspects of the project you want. List what may be involved (typing, photography, web graphics, color matching, and/or printing needs)
Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?
A. See above. Having all this information thought through or being prepared to ask what the designer can do ahead of time saves everyone's time!
