• It seems as of the past few months we've been working on quite a few properties that require "period correct" finishes or historical presevervation. This is one area that we've really sunk our teeth into, and we've enjoyed the challenges along the way. Some properties have required complete "gutting and rebuild" to resolve structural, code, and modernization issues to handle today's appliances, while having to meet a requirement of being "period correct" in appearance. It's taken a lot of research and additional time away from actual job sites to make sure that these projects finish correctly and in compliance with local historical district mandates. • Our framing crews are busy getting schedules set through November so that we can have each of our customers "closed in" before deer season in Michigan (when most trades disappear into the woods).
