FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The field of information technology is constantly expanding and seems to double, triple, sometimes quadruple in size every years. One can not remain successful if you are not remaining up-to-date and stay educated about the latest technologies. Continuing education is a requirement for Our Experts, whether it is through online courses, books purchased off-the-shelf, or actual classes taken at a university or training school. Also, to maintain and receive additional certifications, Our Experts take advantage of continuing education on a regular basis.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
For many of us, there is no "generation gap" in the use of technology. It has been in our lives since birth and we have bared witness to its incredibly fast expansion through our childhood, teenage years, and now as adults. It just "makes sense" to offer services and solutions to customers when our years of experience, in-part thanks to our childhood, has given us a wealth of knowledge and technical capability. Plus, the computer repair field tends to be dominated by the big-box retailers who, to us and many of our clients, seem to to have the priority of outstanding customer service and profitability backwards. It has been our goal from day one to to honestly put the customer first and do what the big-box guys have failed at: offer the BEST service at the LOWEST POSSIBLE RATE.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Antivirus. Spyware, virus, and other malware removals. Free downloads are featured across the Internet. What most people do not know or fail to realize is that even on the Internet, it is rare for something to be truly free. Often, these "free" applications are bundled with toolbars, or even worse, spyware and viruses and can put you at risk for identity theft. We are constantly sent to homes and businesses where the client complains that their PC is running slow. Almost 100% of the time, this is thanks to a multitude of viruses running on their machines. To make matters worse, it seems that people forget to update or renew the licenses on their antivirus software and this allows the viruses and spyware to sneak in.
