How did you get started doing this type of work?
I always had an ability to relieve pain in my family when I would massage them. By 8 years old, My family knew to have me massage their neck and shoulders to relieve headaches. When my attempt to get in to the Army failed due to knee problems (where I planned on taking Physical Therapy training) I worked at odd jobs for 9 years before I stumbled across massage therapy. My mother's back issues and her subsequent seeking of relief led me to start Massage school.
