Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. One of the most important questions to ask any prospective entertainer, "will you be my entertainer"? So many companies will lure you into fancy offices with great sales pitches, but that fancy office will not entertain for you. When selecting an entertainer, make sure you interview YOUR entertainer and not just listen to a prepared sales pitch. Your event is important and your entertainer will make or break your event. Makes sure you choose the one that fits your needs and tastes.
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. What services do you offer? Who will be entertaining at my event? Do you use professional grade equipment? Do you use legally obtained music? Where do you purchase your music from? Do you have backup equipment on site? Do you have insurance? Do you consume alcohol at my event? How many people will be attending my event?
Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?
A. When hiring a DJ, it is important that you interview your entertainer and find out if they are a good fit for your event. Make sure your entertainer is organized, well prepared, and fits your personality well. Do not shop for entertainers based solely on price. You will get what you pay for. Your entertainer is one of the most important parts of your event. Makes sure you make a good investment into the success of your event.
