FAQs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
It's obvious we photograph a lot of weddings and senior grad portraits. They are the bulk of our business. We also fix/restore a lot of photographs for clients that were disappointed with their original choice for wedding photogrpaher. We restore old photogtraphs and often convert them to black and white. We have designed many slideshows for clients and have arcjived many family photos to disk.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look for an experienced photographer that can use their equipment in manual mode so the blue skies are blue and the detail of the dress shows up and is not turned into a big white blob. Nothing will frustrate a bride more than spending hard earned money on a beautiful dress only to have a photographer not know how to photograph that dress to show off the detail. We see this MUCH MORE OFTEN than we use to because many people just purchase a nice camera then start photgraphing weddings with no training. Ask them what setting they use to photograph their weddings. If they shoot in auto or program mode they are very inexperienced. It is crucial they know what shutter speed and f-stops are and how to use them.
