Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Our work consists mostly of weddings with some birthday parties and other events/venues sprinkled here and there.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Make sure when hiring a DJ, find someone that will actually be playing your event. Most companies will have you consult with them and then send out a completely different person to do the event. Don't let this happen.

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. When you're looking for a DJ, make sure of a few things:

1. They need to have a website. With today's technology, a DJ's website should be a key indicator about their level of professionalism. If their site looks like it was made by a child, chances are they don't really invest a lot in to what they do.

2. What kind of networking do they do? If the company you're looking at is proud of their work, you should be able to find them among many different wedding and event planning sites.

3. Know what you're paying for. A lot of times, DJ companies have different packages that contain complicated guidelines. A good DJ company has very simple pricing structures that are spelled out. You shouldn't have to read between the lines to get the answers you're looking for.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. We pride our work on ensuring that everyone gets the same great party they deserve. From the music to the planning, our aim is to create an event experience that is high-level and high-impact. We answer all emails and phone calls same day and your needs are put about our own.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. We love working with you! The greatest thing about doing this is seeing the energy that's created when we get to doing what it is that we do.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. We'll have to get back to you on this one...

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. One of my most favorite events to do was Hannah's 8th birthday party. She invited all of her friends and was so excited that she was in control of all the music I played. She had such a blast! It was a joy to see how people young AND old have a good time.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. My life as a mobile DJ started in college. At first, it was just a way to pay for books, classes, etc. After attending a few weddings of some friends of mine, I realized very quickly that there are a lot of DJs out there that don't really take the time to pay attention to detail. Immediately, I realized that I need to get more serious about my new found skill. I took that skill and turned in to a passion for making sure that the most special moments for people were taken seriously and handled professionally. 12 years later, here we are!

Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.

A. I recently did a New Year's Eve party for the VFW in Westland, MI. The greatest part about this experience was that I had done a wedding there a few months prior...for the same clients. The night was one of the best I've done because the crowd was in to the music and everyone had a great time. It's always a thrill to do an event for folks that have seen our work in the past.
