The Power of Effective Marketing
I've come across good companies with great products and services but a scattered or unfocused approach to marketing and sales. If a professional or company doesn't believe that a well-formed marketing strategy should precede every communication tool like a website, web video, brochures, letters, presentations and be unified with a consistent message across all those platforms, then I'm probably not a good fit.
Daron Powers of The Powers Group admits that it's not easy for his company or any company to stand out from competitors. Consumers and businesses are bombarded with advertising and promotion. Finding ways to stand out in the mind of a prospect requires a business pay close attention to client perceptions, even challenging long held assumptions about their needs and wants.
I'm far from perfect, but listening skills and a step-by-step approach allow me to be effective at marketing and communicating what makes a business stand out. It's not just what a business says that counts; it's what prospective clients hear and understand. Clients love that I help them to join the conversation already going on in their prospect's or client's mind.
One of Daron's favorite projects was collaborating with a successful mid-sized company. In a short time of working together, after updating their marketing strategy, developing an online video landing page, plus other sales video and revamping the companies printed advertising, the company began converting more prospects, and increased sales by more than 15% each of three years running.
