A. It's all about what kind of look you want on your wedding day. Look for somebody who is versatile and can do a dramatic beautiful smoky eye but one who can also do a beautiful soft natural eye. Makeup that is going to be photographed (such as wedding makeup), needs to be slightly heavier than you would normally wear everyday. You want the makeup to emphasize your beauty, not overpower it.
A good makeup artist has a great portfolio available for viewing to show exactly what they can do.
