FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First I want the new client to feel comfortable and confident that they're dealing with a knowledgeable pro. No pressure sales approach and keep them informed of all options leading up to a job and progress during a job.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I subscribe to several industry magazines and even though I know most everything about the industry I'm modest enough to say I don't know everything and am always open to new ideas.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Originally to support a baseball card habit in the early 1980's. I have an accounting degree which I utilize with my own accounting and tax practice still to this day. Ironically the very year I received my college degree I learned that I couldn't take it being dressed up in a suit and tie, and in a stuffy office building all summer long. Also being an accountant it was very easy to do the math and see the potential of taking my small time company which got me through college to the next level vs working for a wage, which in the 90's wasn't even $10 per hour.
