John painted a large number of new door and window trim, as well as baseboard and chair rail, including some difficult to paint dentil molding. He and his partner arrived at 8am and worked into the afternoon. They did an outstanding job at a reasonable price. I would say more than half the time was spent sanding and filling. They take their time to do the job correctly.

Thank you Scott for the review. It was a pleasure to work on your project. The great amount of detail was challenging yet satisfying.

I had John paint my bedroom, a walk in closet and a bathroom. He started on time and did a nice job. Everything turned out well and I would have him do more work for me in the future.

Thanks for the review, Jeremy. I look forward to completing the 1st floor, when you're ready.

John painted an entire condo interior. He was helpful with painting color samples. He had to sand a lot of previous painting errors. Most of the painting is very good. There were a few places where paint was missed. It looked like he flagged areas with tape throughout the condo that needed attention and then just left the tape. He got some paint on my cabinets. He left trash in closets and empty paint cans and pop cans in the condo. When we called him to inquire if he was returning to touch up the missed/flagged areas he said he was done and told us to just take the tape down.
Accent 1st Painting's reply
Hi Elaine, I'm sorry you weren't completely satisfied with our work. I was led to believe the flagged areas had been gone over, as I was loading up the van on our last day. I had told you that I thought the tape you found was tape that had not been removed, therefore suggesting to just remove it. We saw several areas where previous paint had been on cabinets, doors and floors that we had covered and protected. Some of it, we did clean up for you. My van and your refuse container was full, when I was about to leave. Having had use of your refuse containers, while we were there, I didn't know leaving the remaining materials would be a problem. I would have come back, if you had requested to address these issues.

He did a decent painting job but asked if we wanted our shitters painted so he did and then did not know how to put them back on the house . I learned how via you tube and did it myself including 2 nd story level, He still charged the me same and no apologies or call back.
Accent 1st Painting's reply
I'm sorry Vicki, I had gone to Canada and wasn't aware of your concerns. I don't use my cell phone on an international level. I did not want to accept any responsibility nor do the shutter work, as I had informed you. Upon your pleading, I decided to try doing so, following the you tube video that you had suggested. I told you of the complications I had encountered and you told me to leave the shutters alone, after they were already primed and painted. There was an additional day's labor, that I had not charged you for, keeping within your budget guidelines. I thought that was a fair trade for not being able to satisfactorily installing your shutters. We did enjoy dog sitting your dogs and your wife was also very pleasant. I'll continue to keep an open channel of communication with my clients and perform over and above quality work.
