NOT Complicated, A or B is simply "do you want the fancy lighting effects at your event or just a Great DJ with an awesome Sound System?
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My Jr. High friends dad was a Sound Engineer and he built us 2 large Speakers, I mean 120 lbs. each and 2 glass tube Amplifiers to play with in 1974! When we cranked 'em up we found out that neighbors 15 houses away could also enjoy our music selections, LOL! We decided to ask the local elementary school Principle if we could hold a school dance the Saturday before school was out in May 74'. He said yes and the rest is History because the Gym was over capacity at 400 kids for 3 hours and in 1974, $3.00 per kid added up to an amazing $1,200.00 for two 14 olds just having fun with really LOUD MUSIC! We were freakin' rich in 1974!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common type is simply providing "A Great Party Atmosphere" whereas the guests not only offer their thanks, but also pick up our business cards by the dozens and that leads to lots of additional business because they now feel as if they know us! We have a music subscription service since 91' that provides us the opportunity to play songs that other DJ services won't have for another 3 months and we use it every week!
