"Today's bride and groom do not want pictures like their parents had at their weddings. They want images that capture the full emotions of the day, reflect their personalities, and are unique to them.

I blend a photo-jounalistic style, with a bit of added traditional posing, and a touch of posed photojournalism to create the unique look which gives my couples a modern photography experience. When I am at a wedding, I shoot from what I see in my heart, not just from what I see with simply my eye! This is done in order to capture the spirit and true nature of each individuals personality. Couples that I have worked with previously find that I am creative, dependable, fun and easy to work with.

Question and answer

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Even more important then the cost of the service is the relationship you have with your photographer! The three of you need to feel comfortable with each other and get along. Your pictures are one of the very few things that will last for days, months, years, and even decades after that big day! If you are comfortable and happy with the person that is capturing the tender moments, the fun lively moments, and even the silly moments then it will show in their work. If you are not comfortable with your photographer - that will show also!!!!
So, check out the prices and packages, but don't simply pick the cheapest without a personal meeting first. If you mesh, then great! If not, pick them just to try to save some money. You may regret that decision for the rest of your life. :(
Keep in mind that this is the person who you will spend the most time with on your wedding day!!!!

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I'm not the kind of girl that gets the same shots as everyone else. If I captured the moments just as Aunt Betty or Uncle Joe would, then why hire me??? Exactly! I have a different view of the world that receives compliments, smiles, and even tears (of joy.)

I am also fun and easy to get along with, not stuffy and distracted.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. The reaction of my clients after they see the finished product. I put a lot of myself into everything I do. It's a wonderful feeling to know all the hard work is appreciated!

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. I am always looking to get the best shot possible. I like being one step ahead of the game. The first wedding I photographed as a professional, the couple had a horse and carriage ride from the church to the reception. In order to get some great shots of them trotting down the roads, I thought it would be great to jump out the sunroof! So, my second shooter took the wheel, while I acted like the paparazzi and started getting some great "in-the-moment" shots of the beautiful couple! When the saw me, they were quite surprised and we all had a good laugh!
