Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Wedding mostly, family and child photography after that. For my personal work though I enjoy street photography.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Look hard and be wise about who you choose to capture you memories, for your Wedding Day, your child or family portraits.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Well experience and skill go along way in photographing some ones precious moments. Yes, any one can take a photo, but to capture the emotion of the moment... That takes skill.

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. Well they should provide a reasonable time frame to have their images captured.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I really enjoy the fact that I get to meet and interact with a great and varied group of people. The greatest part is that they let me into their lives for a brief moment and I get to capture that for them to cherish for a lifetime.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. I get asked so many questions, it would be hard to list them all, and the answers that are give a dependant on what my clients would like to have done.

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. There are just too many to list, funny stories, sad stories, they are all there. Captured for my clients thru the lens.

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. I wish they saw what goes on after I leave, The 40 hours of work editing photos, retouching the images in lightroom and photoshop. Editing a Wedding album, That is what the customer does not see.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. I have always been keen with a camera, I enjoyed it as a hobby as a child, and now I have expanded on that as a business.

Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.

A. I really am proud of every job I do to be completely honest.

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. Of course, it is a never ending quest to better myself as well as to provide my clients with the newest techniques and products.

Q. What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?

A. Not really. Digital equipment will always get better but the tools are only part of the job.

Q. If you have a complicated pricing system for your service, please give all the details here.

A. I would not say that our pricing is complicated it is just involved. It all depends on what the customer wants to have done for their event.

Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?

A. If someone wanted to be a photographer for a living, I would tell them to be prepared to work hard to hone their craft. To bring a individual touch to all that you may do.
