I provide EXTRA time when needed...in the name of music!!
I am a very patient and compassionate music teacher. I make a great effort to assist students in fully understanding the concepts used in music...and in applying them to MAKE music!!
I regularly hold showcases for my students to demonstrate the skills they have learned...all pupils share any donations from the event--thus, for most, it is their first paying gig!!
I love the fact that I can sing and play music during performances which make people smile and dance. It is a great feeling!
During lessons, it is equally satisfying to witness the development of young (and not-so-young!) musicians. When "breakthrough moments" occur, it is a shared joy between the student and myself.

Very helpful! He tailors the lessons toward what you want to work on, without sacrificing what you really SHOULD know. Very nice guy, pleasure to learn from.

Michael is very patient and flexible. He is virtually a one stop shopping instructor for a multitude of instruments. Any difficulties my son had with assigned music, Michael was enthused to help, Iit did not matter if it was marching band, symphonic, jazz, Gospel, or rock, he received help.

My 11-year-old daughter had taken guitar & piano lessons from Michael over the course of 2 years. He was very flexible with times & even locations for the lessons.....a studio in Ypsilanti, a music room at a nearby music store....or your own home. Michael is old school & understands Music at all levels & as such, communicates with young kids very well. Michael is also a very patient instructor, which he had to be with my daughter. I highly recommend Michael as an instructor to any one.....no problem.
