Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.
A. We do primarily recurring home cleaning. The type of job you do every week, if you have the time. Our duties include dusting, vacuuming cleaning and disinfecting of the bathrooms and kitchens and mopping of all hard floor surfaces.
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Have a good idea of what you are looking for; the type of cleaning you expect, your budgeted amount for a professional cleaning service, etc. and don't be afraid to bring these up with your provider or potential provider.
The cleaning of your home is a relationship between you and the provider and, like all good relationships, requires communication both ways to thrive.
Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?
A. The home cleaning business is not for everyone, but as a general rule there are a lot of folks who have found themselves to be in a position to start their own business and the residential cleaning business is an excellent choice.
Start up for this type of business is low. For under $500, you can be registered with the state, have business cards, a website, equipment and insurance.
The clients are amazing and the work is rewarding.
