My laptop PC had an issue, where it repeatedly crashed when trying to update software and would fail soon after booting. Derrick contacted me within a week of my purchase of a $75 Angie's list coupon, for 2hrs of on site service. We set up a date and on the day he called to let me know he was running behind and and then he arrived on the agreed upon time for the appointment.
He loaded test software onto my PC and ran diagnostics. It appeared that I had some registry errors and my Anti virus software was causing the issue. He uninstalled the software and began the download of the Program Kaspersky 2.0, again. This download was going to take 4hrs so he recommended purchasing the Diagnostic and repair software so I could run it myself after my anti virus software was installed. He also recommended another Antivirus package. I purchased the fixit software from him for $40.00.
After he left my AV SW completed downloading and I reinstalled it. I ran the fixit software and all seemed well. Then later that day the AV was completing an definition update and the PC crashed again. I decided that I would go with Derricks recommendation and download the anti virus Webroot software and get rid of Kespersky 2.0 completely. I did this and again everything appeared to be OK.
Derrick followed up via email and phone to see if everything was OK with my system. A few days later I was using my PC and it crashed again. I let Derrick know via email and he let laid out the options and follow up costs that would be incurred.
I reran the diagnostic and fixit program and this time it found bad sectors on my hard drive. It repaired them and since then I have not seen any issues.

I was very impressed with Derrick, a very caring person, he was
running a few minutes late and called to assure me he was coming
and called again to let me know he was on my way. He was very helpful with questions I had. He is super!!!

I contacted Derrick after reading of his special on Angies List.
He came out 2 days later as promised, was here at the time he had said, and did the repairs as requested in a prompt and curtious manner. He installed a new virus protection and explained how to operate it. (run Scans) Overall I was completely satisfied with his work. No trial and error stuff as he knew what to do all the way through the repair process.
I would recommend him to anyone.

Sick Computer (Derrick) diagnosed the my PC was slow and freezing up at intermittent times. He cleaned up the PC, repaired and fine tuned the registry, ran a defrag. The problem ended up to be more complex since it didn't repair the issues. He then did a deeper diagnosis and determined one of my RAM memory cards was bad and my hard drive had bad sectors. He replaced both, even upgrading my hard drive memory from what I had. He then reimaged the PC with the new hardware, loaded my software and backed up files back on the system, reloaded my printer driver, reinstalled my Windows mail and imported my contact list. He also cleaned up my second PC and configured my printer to print wirelessly from that PC. He also installed free Internet security protection. Because of the complexity of this issue, Derrick came to my house 4 times over the course of a week, always staying in touch with me and communicating when he would arrive.
Derrick is very experienced (12 yrs) and I was impressed with his persistence in finding the root cause of my issues.
I would highly recommend Derrick to others and will definitely use him again, if I have any future computer issues.

They Diagnosed that computer registry was corrupted due to viruses/Trojans and Registry problems. Removed Viruses, intalled security, Installed System Mechanic Software. Configured hardware & software, Cleaned up and optimized computer. The Tech even came out at no additional charge to get my printer and webcam that I was having issues getting to work again and this was on a bring my computer in service call to begin with. It works very nice now and Sick Computer went the extra mile to make sure everything was working the way it should. We want to thank Sick Computer for all their wonderful work to get our computer fixed. It works great!! Their service was quick and very reasonable!! We will call Sick Computer again when we need any service done to our computer. Thank you for your wonderful work!! Paul

Sick Computer was out to my house last week to fix my laptop which had multiple viruses and my internet was very slow. They were out within a few hours and had me up and running in an hour! Great price and service and would hire again.
