Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Always ask for examples of a prospective artists' work. We are designers at heart, and each of us has a very different style. Find one that suits YOU. Once you've chosen an artist, see if they will sketch out your design idea so that you can approve or change anything before the project begins.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. I think it's important for any potential customer to know that the work for us begin's long before we arrive on location. The design aspect of each project can in many cases, be the most time consuming aspect of each job. Many hours are spent at home or in the studio sketching and bringing a customers idea's to fruition. These are the "unseen" aspects that customers should be considering, especially when cost becomes a factor.
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. Ask to see examples of an artists' work, so that you can find a style that suits your idea.
Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?
A. It's important for a potential client and artist to be able to communicate clearly. The artist and client need to be confident before the work begins, that they have the same "end result" in mind. Make sure you have an idea of your budget and any have all of the specifics agreed upon before the work begins.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. I believe I am able to blend my work easily into most any surrounding while adding a fun flair that is uniquely my own. I've had many people comment to me that they can recognise when they run across my artwork because it has a certain style that is uniquely mine, and I am proud of that.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. The best part of my job is seeing the customer SMILE when I am finished :)
