I love animals of all kinds. I have had pets all my life, and currently, I have a couple of dogs, a cat and a cockatoo. I offer you options of what will work for you:

OPTION I- I do take dogs in my home, and they run freely throughout the house. Whatever you allow at your house, we will allow at our house. We sleep with the dogs, or sit with them on the sofa and snuggle with them.

OPTION2- Services at your house. If you would, rather that I come to your house, I would be happy to do this. In all the options, I would give the dog a walk, feed them, give them fresh water, play fetch, and give them a massage. I don't mind special diets or giving medications.

OPTION 3- Combination of your dog being at my house and your house. I would be glad to pick up your pet for part of the day to be at my house, and let them play here for a couple of hours or for the day, and then bring them back to their own house for the evening, or whatever you would like to do between my house and your house. I am very flexible.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. I am trustworthy and honest. I love what I am doing and I enjoy making the pets feel happy and their owners feel comfortable and care free. I have a lot of common sense and wisdom. Most of all, I want to have a good time with your pet and give them a vacation while you are taking one! :) I have taught special education for 18 years people have described me as been patient and kind.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. It is good to have a back ground check and I have one. As far as being licensed you just pay money to have your money written somewhere so it doesn't require training. I did this as a way to go through the hoops but it isn't necessary. Bonded and insured is just putting money down too and it only covers if the dog is in your sitters home and doesn't cover anything else. It is more important to hire an honest person with some smarts than someone who pays something and looks good on paper.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. 1. Has the pet sitter been through a back ground check?
2. Does the pet sitter look like they genuinely love animals? Do you have a good feeling about this person after meeting with them.
3. Does the pet sitter offer the services you need?
4. Is the price right?
