I do custom work specific to each job. I will come out to meet with you and go over what you want to do and work out with you the possibilities. I usually come up with a price range for the plans and stick to it! I sell a complete set of Architectural plans to use for bids, permit and construction.
Even if you're not sure what you want, I'm sure we can come up with something you'll be happy with!

Gene provided the necessary drawings for a basement remodel. We were very happy with the finished drawings. He asked questions of what we wanted, offered several different design ideas and explained what I could and couldn't do structurally. Bonus his prices couldn't be beat! Thanks for the great work. We would highly recommend to anyone looking for this type of service.

Came out for a no pressure meeting to see what we were looking for. Once we decided he was very professional and made changes to anything we needed with no issues. Plans turned out exactly what we were looking for and would hire him again for any addition.

We hired Gene to create the plans for our 1-story kitchen addition. His work was detailed, accurate, and exactly what we needed to move forward with getting permits from St. Paul. We acted as our own general contractor, and it was great to have a clear set of plans to facilitate the bidding process for all of the subs we hired. We would definitely hire GK Design for any future projects.

Overall the project consisted of a Sunroom with full foundation/living space underneath along with a deck. Gene was response with email communication as well as setting up an appointment to stop at the site. He listened to what we wanted and made notes/took measurements and in a few days he provided us will a preliminary drawing. He asked a few clarifying questions and delivered the finished electronic set of plans a few days after for permit review.
