Gary is the door expert! He came out to look at two different exterior doors and within a few minutes was able to explain why they were leaking air and not sitting properly. He gave some recommendations ranging from replacing the doors to more minor work that could reduce the scope of the issue. He also did not ask for any payment for the consultation, which was very generous. I highly recommend reaching out to him if you have an issue with a door and want an expert on the job.

Gary was awesome! He was very responsive and was easy to schedule with. He showed up on time and was nice and courteous. Although, he was unable to do the job I appreciated his honesty and thoroughness in explaining the issues and not wasting my time or money. I hired Gary to replace the wood trim around my front door, fill some holes in the siding where critters were getting into the basement, and replace my storm door. I am extremely impressed with Gary's work. We had an initial communication issue around timing, which he more than made up for (I appreciate this SO much as I have had several bad experiences with contractors this summer). Gary's attention to detail was excellent, his carpentry was immaculate, his rate was very fair, and his clean-up was thorough. He understands both the appeal and the challenges of old houses! I'm making a list of more things to hire him for... :)
