I am a professional keyboard (piano, synth, and accordion) musician with over 40 years experience as a musician, as well as a teacher/mentor. I have 25 years experience in working with senior citizens and adults with disabilities.
As an instructor, I am very sympathetic to the needs of these populations. I desire to work with beginning - intermediate level students of all abilities.

A. I am a keyboard instructor (piano & accordion) who also has a background in music therapy which means that I am an instructor who is more sensitive to the mental and physical needs of my students. I am also more willing to choose music that my students like which means that my lessons are educational as well as enjoyable. I firmly believe that a student needs to enjoy his or her music lesson or it is of no benefit to the student.

A. I like working with children and adults with special needs because I like the challenge of having my students reach their music as well as non - music goals. I very much enjoy seeing my students make progress towards reaching their goals.
