Question and answer
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. A process server must regard their clients litigation as important a responsibility as if it were their own. My creed is work hard, work smart, never lose sight of your integrity and success will follow. This essential belief has served my company well as it has myself in my personal life. What I believe makes Twin Cities Served a premier process serving company is that our expectation of standards of service very often will exceed what our clients expect of us.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. Service of process can be an act of finesse, tact, timing, knowing which questions to ask one individual yet perhaps not another. There is a learning curve and the only thing that can overcome common mistakes or assist a server in locating and serving a defendant avoiding service is experience. Instinct is a developed skill that requires practice, then more practice.
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. Price of course is on everyones mind these days. The best deal however may not provide the best results. Over paying is simply over paying. Shop around, ask for references. The process server should be accommodating and informative with potential clients and be willing to provide premium customer service. If they cant do that upon initial contact, they may not provide outstanding service in the field. Ask about the expected time frame on service attempts, how many attempts will the server engage. Communication with the client regarding progress or setbacks during the process of the serve is a critical aspect of our service.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. 100%
That is my goal with every client, every job, every time. Simply put it is in my nature to engage every aspect of my services to the fullest of my ability. I am an extremely determined individual and can't or quit aren't in my vocabulary. It's in the genes. I am also grateful every time a client hires Twin Cities Served and its a pleasure to satisfy my customers.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. Independence and the process of creating an environment for myself that I can control. I am responsible for my success and my failures. This in itself has helped me evolve as an individual and continuously provides new and interesting opportunities and scenarios that force me to stretch my capabilities and learn from my short comings.
Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?
A. Process servers have a reputation as the person at the door no one wants to see. There is a flip side to that though. Over the years I have been extremely gratified by the work I do. A woman involved with a dead beat dad, he hasnt paid child support in months or years finally gets justice after service of process has been effected.
A friend loans another friend a large sum of money and then stops making payments and avoids phone calls. My service can help make the difference in righting a wrong. Process service provides people with the ability to proceed with justice in the legal system.
