FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started in construction on how most men in this line of work do, Lincoln Logs. Of course as I got older and grew out of the Tonka Trucks and into skid loaders the construction process got more intricate and complex. Growing up I loved to help out around my parents house as well as at my grandparents residences. The idea of helping people improve and repair there homes is what lead me to residential construction. I started my first paycheck construction job after I graduated from high school, working as a Construction Craft Laborer, for Kellington Construction. I worked during the summer while I was going to school at Minnesota State University-Mankato, and full time between 2013-2015. While working for Kellington I was able to develop on foundational knowledge of the construction process working alongside the best skilled tradesmen and construction managers in the world. I was able to learn what it takes to be the best in construction and utilize that wisdom on every project that we construct. I have confidence in saying that William & Floyd Design will out perform and exceed your expectations when it come to your construction project. - What types of customers have you worked with?
We love to work on every aspect of architectural detail on homes. With that being said we often work on custom designed projects ranging from full and partial kitchen remodels, bathroom remodeling, basement remodeling, garage/shop remodeling, and every other area of the home. We love to work with existing architecture found in older homes, refinishing, rehabilitating, and repurposing them to perfection. We look at every project as an opportunity to provide elegance, functionality, comfort, and appeal to your home. We can take dreams and ideas and create sketches and renderings. From these renderings we are able to construct a final product that our customer expects bringing dreams to reality.
