My customers love my dedication to their writing projects; indeed, I treat their work as if it were my own.

I bring extensive writing experience from my academic and professional years, and have worked in the freelance editing field for over four years. My completed projects include both fiction (young readers' and general audience) and nonfiction books, articles and columns for regional news-magazines, web content, business proposals, Bible studies, newsletter content, and more.

I regularly employ a mix of proofreading, copy-editing, and substantive editing skills to give clients the fullest feedback possible. As my client, you, in the end, make the final decision about which alterations you wish to accept and which don't seem to fit your writing style (though my experience has demonstrated that most writers appreciate the majority of my suggestions).

My expertise (largely innate) is in English grammar, punctuation, spelling, and overall readability. I work well with Chicago Manual of Style principles, as well as the AP Stylebook when called for; I am open to following a unique house-style sheet as well. I am adept at MS Word 2007 and am learning Adobe InCopy.

I am detail-oriented and easy to work with. I prefer doing a job meticulously to rushing it through, though I am certainly respectful of and concerned about your deadlines.
