Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Our most common settings are family portraits, weddings, couples, our milestone packages, High school seniors & graduations, events, product shots, business portraits (business card), pregnancy, newborns, children, daycare/school portraits, groups, model portfolio's, we also sell our wildlife and nature shots at our alternate site "Shutters of Nature". We also offer photo restoration and other services.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. 1) I would always meet with your photographer(s) to get to know them to see if you are comfortable with them and their personalities. 2) Ask questions to find out if they are willing to work with you and your needs. 3) What their payment options are. 4) Look at their website and compare them to see what the difference in styles are.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. We love capturing those moments in time that are priceless and only come once. Our mission is to provide quality portraits that are not rushed and stressful. We believe that you can have professional portraits without the expensive price. We digitally touch up portraits at no additional cost to our clients (except for restorations and graphic design). We have a studio that can be packed up for "on the go". For example, we go to in-home daycares to do annual to bi-annual portraits. We have a referral program that gives discounts to referring clients. We offer various services and we are always available to answer any questions.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. We love dealing with people and know what we do makes them happy. We try to make our packages and services affordable to everyone. I (Michelle Rinkey) enjoy meeting new people. How many people get to be outside on that perfect day doing something they love for the enjoyment of another. When I'm done with a session, I'm usually editing and getting them ready for the clients free online gallery. We usually say it is up in 48-72 hours, but sometimes I'm an over-achiever & it's up in 12 hrs. There are so many special days in your life that you want to capture...if you'd like, let us be a part of it.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. Where do we take pictures? On Location at your house, in a park like Minnehaha Falls, The Saint Paul Conservatory and in our in home studio.

Do we offer retouching? Yes.

How much are our digital services? Light retouching is no charge and mid to heavy is $25 an hour.

Do we do composites? Yes.

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. I have so many to choose from, but if I have to choose...My favorite story is when we went to the hospital to take pictures of one of our client's newborn baby. She was going to hire us for her new baby girl's milestone package ( she has one for her son). In the last 1.5 years their family have become our friends. This is not just a job for us, it is the way we live our lives... it's happiness. When she did hire us to do her daughter's newborn pictures we included her hospital shots on her free CD. Which made her happy.
