Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. We clean a lot of duct work for people who have either just moved into their new home, or have just had a baby. We also clean a lot of furnaces in the fall and do a lot of air conditioner cleaning in the spring.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Ask the duct cleaning company if you can write the check out before they arrive. If the duct cleaner is legit, they should be able to give you a real price over the phone. Many dishonest vent cleaners will leave if you are unwilling to spend more than the quoted price. An honest air duct cleaning company will do the work for the advertised price and won't try upsell you unless you want them to perform other services.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. We are different from most of our competitors in two respects. 1) We don't do fly-by-night work. Our goal is to do such a good job that you will call us again in the future. We have been in the air duct cleaning business for nearly 15 years and tend to think long-term. 2) We don't price gouge. Some companies want to spend half the day in your home and will charge from $400 - $1,000! We both know it's just metal duct work and won't try to convince you to send cameras through your air vents.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. 1.) Do you clean all the duct work for $99? A) Yes - with our company, there is no need to count vents.
2.) Is there a trip charge? A) No - We have no hidden charges.
3.) Can we see what's extracted from the air ducts? Yes and no. Since we don't use portable equipment, all the dust, dirt and debris is vacuumed outside through our truck mounted vac. If you are the first customer of the day you can look in the truck, but later in the day your dirt will be combined with all the other customers.

Q. If you have a complicated pricing system for your service, please give all the details here.

There is only one exception and that's for transient vents (in-floor heating). when the technician is out, he will make recommendations and you can decide if you want to clean other items while we are out. For example, the duct cleaner may notice that your chimney has a lot of soot, or your dryer vent is nearly clogged.

A. Is it necessary to have a video inspection? It's up to the home owner. If it makes you feel more comfortable knowing that every last spec of dust has been removed fform your ventilation system, then you should hire a company that has video cameras to send through your air ducts. You and your family will be able to sit on the couch and watch as the camera shows you how dirty your air duct work was before and how clean it is after. Most of our customers think it's just another dog-and-pony show to get homeowners to spend more than they need to.
