Writer, editor, and coach, I can transform vague or incoherent ideas into award-winning web copy, brochures, collateral, etc. I work with clients to help them see the structure and force of ideas, making them better communicators both on their own and in tandem with others.

The work product was exactly what I was looking for; he was able to meet my unrealistic time frames, available at all hours of the night and was very easy to work with. His help and previous knowledge of the application process allowed me to secure the SBA loan.
Thanks Greg!!

Question and answer
Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.
A. Take vague ideas and write up into coherent, appealing copy. This may take the form of an article, a letter, a web page, whatever. You can think of me as a ghost writer: I take the ghost of an idea and flesh it out till it is vibrant and persuasive.
Q. Describe three recent jobs you've completed.
A. * Took client's irate, incoherent letter demanding payment and transformed it into something logical and calm.
* Abridged a press release and sent it to editors; talked with editors to make sure the notice would be published in their papers.
* Wrote vibrant article on the pollution posed by farm runoff into the Minnesota River.
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Make sure to get samples of the work, especially in fields like your own. And ask not just about the product but the process too: how does the vendor go about producing the final result? how much will you be involved? how well will your unique story be reflected?
Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?
A. Don't start with a palette of colors or a hard, fast budget. Start with the kind of message you wish to project to your target audience. You may not know the words of the message, or the design specifics, but you should have a more or less accurate sense of the differences between you and your competitors.
