Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Google the name of the agent you are considering and analyze there web presence and reputation. Ask to see all of there sales history and verify that what they are telling you is true. Ask if they charge an admin fee and ask for a marketing plan and/or proposal specific to you and your property, not just generic information that they give to everyone and likely didn't even write themselves.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. If I were a customer I would want to know exactly how marketing experts market there listings and spend there marketing dollars. I would want to know why so many agents charge an administrative fee on top of the commission they charge.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. The photos and videos I take are some of the best in the industry. I specialize in internet marketing and exposure and answer my phone 16 hours a day and use my personal cell number on all of my signs and marketing materials.
Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?
A. I wish customers knew how much difference a full-time experienced agent makes in selling your home and helping you purchase and negotiate on a home of your own. I see so many agents that do a huge disservice to their clients because they are in-experienced and/or part time Realtors.
Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?
A. Be financially ready to not get a paycheck for several months and be very careful in how you spend your money. Never stop learning, analyzing and working. Get a mentor.
