FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes. I completed my certification with the international Sports Sciences Association this year (2014) after my four years at College of St. Catherine in 2008. I also completed my herbal and detox certification through the international school of detoxification with Dr. Robert Morse in 2016. I am currently enrolled in my masters in holistic nutrition through the University and college of natural health. I constantly study new and current information in the nutrition world.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
After the end of a 10 year dysfunctional marriage. I realized I was slowly killing myself physically and mentally. I was heavier than I wanted to be, drinking too much and constantly stressed out. I began yoga after my youngest was born to help loose some baby/ divorce stress weight and fel in love immediately. I continued to practice everyday for over a year and then began extensive training. I became certified in power vinyasa, sculpt and hot yoga. I studied hatha, anusara, jivamukti and ashtanga yoga. After teaching for a couple of years and changing my own diet I decided to further my education and get my certification in holistic nutrition. Everything just led to overall wellness. I began sharing my passion with my students and simply through word of mouth I had my own little business.
