Jamie did a fabulous job. He was fun to have around and worked up to his companies name. He was truly fastidious in his work and I could not have asked for a more careful, knowledgable and enjoyable person to do the job! He is a perfect 10 and I would recommend him to anyone who cares about the quality of their installation and the quality of the installer!

Jamie was very professional, took his time to perfect the job! He transformed our home to look beautiful. He placed cork flooring, molding and our doors in our downstairs. We would highly recommend him to anyone!

Very hard working, explained the whole process while pointing out challenging areas explaining in detail. Used very little wasted product. I purchased high end flooring and wouldn't hesitate to use him again on my basement project. We hired Jamie to install engineered wood floors in our new home a year and a half ago from a referral, and are so glad that we did. Jamie is a meticulous craftsman who takes pride in his work, and a professional who we found a delight to work with. The highlight of our project is a maple and cherry staircase (maple on the rise, cherry for the tread, incorporating the two woods that we already had throughout the home), which he patiently constructed with extreme attention to detail, making innumerable trips back and forth to the garage to shave off little pieces of wood each time so that each tread fit perfectly into place for a staircase that wasn't perfectly square. In our so-called 'throwaway society' where so many things are just thrown together with a get-it-done mentality and not necessarily built to last, it is extremely refreshing to find this rare level of detailed craftsmanship by a cheerful craftsman who cares more about getting your job done beautifully and right than getting a job done quickly for an easy profit. Because he 'built' the staircase, he saved us the costly expense of purchasing custom stair treads, and only charged a nominal additional fee for the stairs (much less than others were charging to install the much simpler custom treads). Moreover, with exception to one tread that we mistakenly stepped on before we were supposed to / it had dried completely, a year and a half later and we can run down the stairs (and throughout our home!) without the creaking and crackling you often hear with a poorly laid wood floor, and everyone who visits immediately notices and comments on the beautiful staircase, and flooring. He went above and beyond on everything; worked on Thanksgiving Day to help us get the project done in time to move in on schedule, and when we weren't sure if we were going to alter a closet or not, offered to install it now and come back later at no charge to re-do the closet area if we decided to change things in the future. Remarkably, all of the above for LESS than anyone else quoted us for our project. Although sheepishly late in writing this well-deserved review, we have had NO reservations meanwhile in referring him to everyone we know. Extremely pleased and could no say enough good things. In short, I would us hire Jamie at Fastidious Floors again in a second. He did a great job at a moderate price.
If you are looking for someone who will take time on installing your floor with a fine attention to detail, Jamie is your guy. Jamie even provided guidance on which floor to use, and where I could the get the best prices.
In addition to his expert carpentry skills, Jamie is just a plain old good guy. Someone felt at ease to leave at my home when I was away.
The job was done in a timely manner, at a good price, with expert craftmanship. I would definitely use Jamie again.... In fact, I probably will soon!
