FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We do not have a complicated pricing system and our estimates are clear as to all the steps necessary to complete each unique project. Rarely, do we run into an obstacle or unplanned expense, keeping the project on target and within budget. The time and materials approach seems to be the key to setting proper expectations for the project as well. We do have personnel with different skill sets, allowing us to utilize those talents to shorten the length of time in a project, rather than throw untalented man hours into the job, ultimately, causing a higher expense and/or bid for the project.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Quite a few of our suppliers sponsor seminars and product introduction events, which often involve techniques that must be learned in order to properly use or apply their coatings. We make time to attend these sessions in order to stay abreast of the latest methods and products used in our field. The overall objective is to ensure that we are able to provide the highest quality products and services to meet the needs of even the most discerning customers.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
While in high school, I was hired to provide general labor for a contractor that provided a variety of services to the new contruction market. By accident, I was asked to help finish a painting job that was behind schedule. I was training as an apprentice before I knew it and found that my eye for detail was a natural asset. My results were praised by my employer and their customers. I found I had become passionate about my skills to provide top notch services in the painting and finishing industry. I also found that I was a natural leader and have mentored many employees to find enjoyment in this profession, thus my company was born and evolved to the level it now has grown.
