FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
From a very young age, I knew I always loved animals. When I was 16, I thought I wanted to because a veterinary assistant, but realized after attending two semesters, I was more interested in the helping and rescuing of animals that needed it. I didn't care for the medical aspect of working with animals. So, after being asked to pet sit from a young age, I realized how much I love it and decided to make a business out of it. I am also a national disaster response trainer through the Humane Society of The United States, so I get to go help out with disasters or hoarding situations when they come up in the area. So, I get to help animals that need it and get to care for animals that already have loving homes.
