Open your eyes to the outdoors...what would you like to see in your yard? Not really sure, but knows that it's more than what you have now? Trio Landscaping can help you visualize your yards potential and give you the space to really enjoy your yard for all it has to offer.
Diana's best asset, aside from her creative perspective, is the way she is able to bring the landscape into reality before the shovels hit the ground. Using wonderful verbal imagery, Diana walks you through the ideas she sees for your yard.
Another way Diana helps you gain understanding about various materials is the personalities they take on...a new look at the landscape for sure! With a real passion for landscaping, she has worked on hundreds of projects with wide ranges in both budget and scale.
Diana Grundeens has been in the industry since 1995. She attended Anoka Technical college for her A.A.S. degree in Nursery Management and Landscape Design and got certified as a Landscape Professional since 1999.
As an award-winning landscape designer, she has also been featured on HGTV's Curb Appeal and participated in Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.

I am a home builder/remodeler and I have had several conversations with her about landscaping. Through my conversations with her it is apparent that not only does she know landscaping but she also knows alot about general construction of homes and can make great educated recomendations for you on your next project. With confidence I highly recomended Trio Landscaping.

A. I work mainly with residential properties, but also work with small business on a personal level.
Most project are renovation types, maning I am taking out the old and creating new, including all aspects and ranges of materials.
Front yards could be taking out the plantings and creating new planting beds with fresh perennials and shrubs to a full front entery makover with new sidewalks and curb appeal.
A. When you are looking for a Landscape designer you are looking at 2 areas: expertise and creativity. Making sure that the expertise is there is the easy part, as certifications, education, and experiance all build that. But finding the person that can combine it with creative design that appeals to you is what makes real designers stand out.
Dont hold back information from you designer, the silliest piece of onfo might make a huge impact on how your landscape is put togehter.
A. They should know what kind of budget they are okay with spending, as there are many directions design can go, but cost usually dictates what will actually happen.
Thay should talk about things with the other desicion makers before hand to make sure that they understand thier own priorities and how they impact the project.
A. I love to really find out how clients want to live in thier yard as I put together thier ideas, this gives them a more comprehensive and use full way to make thier yard more funtional as well.
A. I love that I can make a difference in how poeple feel about theier home, giving them the space to want to enjoy and relish in. By providing neighborhood appeal in renovations. By being green. I love sharing the joy and excitiment with my clients about fun and innovative spaces.
I love being out doors are playing in the dirt as well...
A. Do you do free estimates? No, I do have a fee to come out and provide a consultaion, where we discuss your needs and share ideas that would apply to your landscape...these ideas are not just a square footage based thing like your roof estimates. If you are looking for free idea's then you are not looking for the quality of information that I provide. The consultaion is what begins our realtionship and gives you the oppertunity to have plans drawn and work installed.
A. Landscaping is more than a just a few plants in the yard, but accent to your home and life. You can ehnace your enjoyment of your property by giving yourself a place to sit back and something to view. When you bring me on as your designer I will help you find out what will enhance your lifstyle the best. But dont be taken in by those that come in and sell you fast on genral pieces but are not able to provide you the expertise and vision that I will share with you.
A. I was introuduced into the industry in high school and found a passion in the plant materials and creating new spaces in design work....it has only growm from there!
A. Yes I do, I attend seminars and take classes to find out more information in a number of areas in my industry as well as those that have ideas and interests that can be benificial to me and my clients.
New plants and materials are fun, and technology is constantly changing. With out continuing education I would be stuck in time, leaving me stale for my clients, that is not who I strive to be. I strive to be a currant, innovative designer that is helping the industry grow as well.
