We are a truly independent outsource for insurance buying as well as many other risk management services. Taking the chore of having to deal with the details of the insurance process is a major plus for many of our clients.

We also provide a workers compensation management program that really works! We reduce experience mods by reducing accidents and putting programs in place that effectively take the mystery out of injuries once they happen.

The area of contracts when it comes to insurance and hold harmless issues can be very tricky if not done correctly. This is risk transfer at its finest, and we have nearly 30 years of experience doing it right.

These are all issues (plus many more) that need to be addressed before you have pain.

Question and answer

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. First of all we are truly independent. We only work for the client. We represent their interest and suggest solutions that give them the most value for their unique situation.

Second we have programs that no one else has. In order to serve our clients better we have developed better answers to many issues.

Third we have over 50 years of experience that says "been there done that." Many so called "new" programs are really not new at all but simply redefined old programs that were not successful.

Lastly (but in some ways most important) is our integrity. We do not work for agents, brokers or insurance companies.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. The variety is something that continues to keep your attention to what is going on in the industry. Even if you have two exact situations with two different clients the solutions are never the same. We have to take into account many aspects not the least of which is the client's tolerance for risk.

Then of course is our workers compensation program. We are able to reduce injuries so fewer people get hurt and if they do, the injury is not as serious. While employees may not realize this it is none the less a personal satisfaction knowing you have saved some pain and suffering.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. Currently they come from the Boards of Directors. They want to make sure they are fully covered. They ask for a review of the Directors & Officers Policy. We do that review and advise them what is good about the policy and what needs attention. We also advise if what they are paying represents the value they are receiving. Generally there are many gaps that need to be addressed. Most of the time we can get them addressed and lower the cost.
